Though I have never understood the turbo w/o filter thing... it's just a grand or so sticking out of the hood and then the bits of compressor wheel engine bound.

 
Not much of a sleeper car, but If I saw that pull up next to me I'd probably start shaking and pee myself

 
sounds like it needs a tune too. there a pretty bad hesitation in there.

i've seen pics of compressor wheels that have been run without filters. its baaad. they basically just get sanded down to nothing, and then dont make any boost. and that's assuming that nothing big gets in there. plus, where does all that sand/grit/dust go after the turbo? exactly, right into the motor. i'm sure that's good for it. its like an exfoliation for your internals. :
