tire recommend?

I browse the net, it will be my next tire purchase for the first time..

I am needing 205/70/15

a lot of winners..

t rated minimum, all season/grand touring.

I am hoping to limit to $400..and found a garage local already. That should get about anything..

I see outbacks get 205/70, and some others that choose it for their sube.. the awd does make a butt out of a lot of brands.(I have got hakkas completely raped on my 23 year old sube right now in fact)

wondering what some of you have gone with no problems..?

Check craigslist. That's where I get my tires, you can get them a lot cheaper than new.

Also, with the 4WD you don't have to be so picky about running even tires all around since you (hopefully) only use 4wd on dirt, snow, etc.

I do check daily...

the 205/70 seems to be on everything. All the gm FWD, even the little 4wd. The tires I sold today, was an s15 pickup...

the used ones get gobbled up I guess.

After new bearing, and bushings and weld... I really want all four new, and let a pro determine final alignments/advice. the hakkas are prving to me to be the last time I go used in that way again.

I found these as rare but perfect genre for the ten geared sube (or any offroad limited)

205/70 and all terrain is quite rare. All terrain means all year round, all roads, including highway. winter tread is narrowed down further... but do get offroad with them.

they seem steep in price, but damn, they all are. May as well focus on what I want specifically.

I have a set of almost brand new general grabbers in 205-75-15 you can have cheap without the wheels they're on(you have 4 bolt right?). Somewhere around $300
