I won't jump the gun and say exactly what I think caused it, but here's the scoop:
Trans lost most (if not all) of its fluid, and started smoking... doesn't even have enough to get moving.
I don't know WHERE it leaked out from (10pm isn't the greatest lighting and all... :BangHead
so I'll try to find out more.
Trans could be:
Cracked
Have a leaky pan
What else?
I had the axles re-booted when the engine work was done - can improper axle installation result in lost fluid?
There's one more key possibility, but I won't open that up until I know for sure... don't want to be held liable for bad press.
