not a very well kept secret. just read story in Car and Driver where they took some ST rides in final production tuning process--sounds like it will be one dorifto-happy little monster. circa 250 hp, very forgiving (and defeatable) stability control has a hang-out-the-tail mode that makes anybody look like they're ready to star in a Ken Block gymkhana vid.

production ST is due here late summer or early fall.

expect that Team ONeil will get an early example of the ST due to their Ford motorsports connections. I'll be early in line to get a drive don't worry!

I definitely agree with both of you. I've gained a lot of respect for Ford over the last few years.

 
on pavement, I think the Focus ST is gonna give the WRX or STI a run for their money. On dirt or snow tho, I think AWD still ruleZ.
