how about this...

I managed to drag my ass through 4 years of College, Babson in Wellesley MA and even graduated; It was so long ago my diploma is hand carved on a piece of rock and one of the Geico Cavemen was a drinking buddy... They didnt even have graduation poixx back then, they were going to make me a wall carving but the artist got eaten by a Sabre Tooth tiger..

If I can survive 4 years at preppy-A** central and graduate no less than anyone can do anything...

Granted back then I had more brain cells and was only trying to actively kill them with contact sports and the weekly ( err sometimes daily) mass consumption of beer at frat parties...

 
I'm actually not very tolerant of being made to do/learn things I don't want to... I pretty much do what I please.... But learning to drive stick isn't that hard.

 
i think there are some people who shouldnt drive a standard because driving a car that's an auto is enough of a handful already. i know one girl i drove with a lot used to always leave it in a higher gear when she'd slow down, then i'd always have to remind her to shift down. she also left it in 4th on the highway several times. i'm glad she got an auto as her next car.
