Wheres the bearing? PICTURES

So I pulled apart my first subaru motor tonight and apparently 2.0 litre wrx blocks like to consume bearings.

The one I took apart was almost that bad. What was left of the bearing was paper thin and was starting to squeeze out the side of the rod. The crankcase is the only salvageable part.

The guy that is actually doing it is a machinist/mechanic. He already discussed a lot of that stuff. Everything is getting cleaned and or replaced. I think the only thing he is going to reuse is the block, cuz he already has some spare cranks, rods, etc.
