I seem to find new GR2s for about the price of lightly used AGXs, figured it was worth a shot.

Also I just noticed that they don't sell any non-abs struts for the Impreza on tirerack. Seems to me that ABS vs non ABS wouldn't really matter. I mean, one probably has provisions for mounting the ABS sensor wire. Anything else?

GR-2s are standard choice for suspension on the school Imprezas at Team O'Neil. most of their cars are older ones and/or the ABS junque is long gone, and far as I know they just use the currently available ABS-style struts.

Abs struts just have a tab for the sensor wire to attach on.

I have a WRX suspension setup ... you would just need top hats. I even have some lowering springs I could throw in for a little extra!
