Looking to buy a full EJ205 with tranny and ECU with my tax return this year. I want it to be lowish miles and no problems running at all. I know it might be a long shot but i might as well post and ask. 

Problem solved. It was the timing all along. Guess i was using the wrong time mark on my crank gear.

I am looking for an sedan STI wing to throw on my Impreza coupe. Anyone have one? Will take any color but my car is black so i guess i prefer black. 

Just changed my crank gear and also my crank position sensor. Now i am not getting any spark at all. I am thinking i may have ruined the sensor i had to jam it in pretty hard and its not all the way in. How close does the sensor have to be to get a reading? Anyone? 

Yeah i do have a phase two block but that was the point of putting the engine in. I used my 98 phase one heads and intake. Took the 99 phase two block with 60 k miles on it (compared to my oil leaking 212k phase one). The blocks are literally the same, both are SOHC and 2.2 liter. It should work...
