Well...... It seems that I have lost third gear, in quite a startling manner. I was driving at about 45 and shifting into third, conserving fuel as it were, and as soon as I started accellerating there was a LOUD BANG, followed by grind grind grind. Looks like there is no christmas for me this...

Well I had to help out on a tranny and timing belt job, so the only thing that got done was the suspension. Had a couple bolts snap, but otherwise was smooth. Gallery: http://www.mainelyoffroad.com/gallery/album02

I'm going to be installing an uppipe shortly (probably this weekend) and was looking for any tips from someone who has installed one. Am I going to have to cut the heat shield or anything? Should I gut the downpipe and install the resistor/capacitor for the possible CEL, or wait until I am doing...
