The way I did it was to remove lights and wipe them down with rubbing alcohol then tape the turn sigs and backup lights off then re clean with alcohol. I did not wet sand the lens befor paint. I sprayed 5 coats of the metalcast red paint starting light and getting heavier. I gave it 30mins...

Yup it's called metalcast it's made to look like anodized alum. It's a translucent red paint. It requires a few coats I clear to look nice and glossy like the stock tails. Nightshades also makes a red version but I did not know about it until I was at advanced auto parts buying the clear coat...

I spotted a wrb bugeye wrx wagon with ra mudflaps on milk St. In the old port.

I just got a set of RA flaps too, and i debated what ones to get. I went with the black flaps with the gray logo on a wrb car. on your car red looks cool but its just to much for me. I like the black flap with the red logo its a little more subtle.

RCE just released the GTWORX/Bilstein Impreza Cup Sport Kit it looks like it would be a great set up with more bump travel. it is also height adjustable! Its a little costly but would be sweet. I just picked up so RCE Blacks for my 08 sti. I wish they had a bilstein shock for the sti.
