2007 WRX transmission, rear diff, etc

surprised your mileage isn't a bit worse than a 1 mpg loss from 24.

4.44 final drive is 12% shorter than 3.9, so mileage should be approx 21 mpg...(given all other factors being equal) ...of course this is not an exact science, otherwise everyone would do it!

congrats on piecing together a fairly complex swap. keep us posted as to what your butt dyno sez about better pickup, rolling onto the gas a mid revs, etc

06/07 WRX are 3.70 fd stock so it's even more drastic than that... however like I said I slowed down 10mph so there isn't a whole lot of difference in cruising RPM. I'll probably cut/paste this cost info + post some driving impressions in my gallery thread at some point when I get a few minutes.
