Wouldn't Bilsteins from a Spec B/3.0R work on an '05 Outback? It's a solid car, The drivetrain is decent with plenty of power but the stock struts on my wife's '05 LL bean outback are really soft and floaty. No other options besides bilsteins from Japanland....$$$
Her's is about to turn 200K, bought it with 180K
Why not put it on aftermarket legacy struts/ stock springs and install lift blocks? Im willing to bet thatd save you a few hundred at least. The suspension im talking about is the Bilstein 5056 BTS package for the JDM outback and 3.0R. It's $1,600 )current exchange rate) from Japanland but as I have read makes a world of difference
