i got the sheet metal to make mine from that same machine shop. mine comes further forward and covers the top of the grill too. keep in mind if you do that it needs a slight bend in it (~15deg). a bandsaw is handy.

I've wanted one of these too for a while. Mostly for asthetic reasons. How does this stay on? Is it just clamp underneath the mounting brackets for the radiator?

it looks like that one is just pinned down by the two radiator support brackets, although mine is wider overall and actually has those two bolts go through it to hold it down.

Yaah... they have them for GC's. Look around on the interweb... Perrin isn't the only company that makes 'em. There are cheaper versions. Of course, they don't say Perrin... but still... ebay it too. Radiator shroud.
