So a couple of weekends ago I detailed Apkarian100's dad's Toyota Tacoma. This is a work truck and in pretty rough shape. Here is what I did.

  1. Wash with 2 bucket method using Rain-X car shampoo
  2. Dried using my leaf blower
  3. Clayed with Megs clay kit
  4. Machine buffed with Megs Swirl-X
  5. Machine buffed with Megs Ultimate Polish
  6. Hand waxed with Megs Ultimate paste wax
  7. Machine buffed to shine
  8. Zymol spray glaze
  9. Rain-X exterior windows
  10. Renewed all black plastic with Mothers Back to Black

Were you able to get scratches out right side ? Looks great '
I got ALL the clear coat scratches out. However there were some that were in the paint. If you can feel the scratch with your fingernail, it won't come out with paint correction.

how much?
Well a 2 step paint correction like this is typically $300+. It really depends on how bad the paint is. Swirl removal would probably be a little less. Lot's of scratches and needs two different abrasives, it will be more. Interested? Luckily white vehicles hide a lot of imperfections
