Toying with the idea of selling my forester. Has 112K, heated leather and mirrors, remote start, keyless entry and 2 key pads, 07 imp CD player.

auto Trans replaced two years ago, head

gaskets, timing belt, water pump, belt tensioner and other misc goodies last spring. Had rust over pass rear fender, I cut it out and welded a patch, rusty streak showing again. Been parked since February for a rotten rear sub frame, a $300 part from evergreen last time I thought about fixing it. Trying to figure out what I can get for it

May not think to check this thread often, no pics as of now unless you can find my journal on it

Bump, I want this thing gone, baby momma wants something better. Just drove it around the field yesterday, fired right up, still runs good, no funny noises except the rusty rotors. Offers accepted

So, I got this fired up and drove it around. Then I got under it... Passenger rocker is bad under the side skirt, so is the bottom of the rad support. I hate to part it out because I have a lot of money in it, and the drive line is good. I'm losing lots of money no matter what, but I'd rather see someone fix this. I'm out of patience and don't have time. I'll entertain and trade(+ cash) ideas, especially guns, good quality chain saw, simplicity tractor implements.

Bump, got this on the front lawn with for sale sign on it. I'd it doesn't go by fall I'm stripping the good stuff out and scrapping the shell

Scrap/crusher cars are $200-$300 depending on weight if you have the title, sometimes they over look the title formality.  KBB books for 1700 in fair condition.  So, somewhere in the middle I'd say since it runs good and has had a lot of new stuff recently.

Doing the sub-frame on Fozzys and Imprezas aren't too bad.  Worst case scenario is you give up on fixin it and part it out.  You'll still get $800-$1000 for the engine and tranny.  offer 4 or 5 and drive it home.

Inski, I'm thinking a grand cash money, the engine and tranny have to be worth that. If it doesn't go soon I'll try to fix it since mike has a sub frame. I can't locate the title and keep meaning to call the state to get a duplicate. Would accept partial or total firearm trades for the car. Especially Ruger gunsite, flattop ar15, maybe a good handgun

If someone is interested come drive it around the field

Inski I just looked up the blue book came and fair was 3500. Granted she's no gem...but I still think a grand is reasonable
