FS: 1997 Impreza Brighton

I found that Duplicolor T282 Ford Dark Jewel Green (when Laid 2-3 coats over kelly green (any lighter brightish green) and then cleared is almost an EXACT match to the subaru green. You could spray it over that brighter green fender and it would match almost perfectly. If you wetsand/buff after it will match. (only difference in color is the flakes in the paint. Subaru has more of a bluish gold flake/ the can has more of a goldish flake...).

You can't tell unless you are 2 feet away. It will cost you $6 for a can and whatever clear you buy... So about 10-20 (with sandpaper) to paint it and fishish it. The matching paint might make it worth a little more. I can't believe this hasn't sold for $700 ... Heck I would have thought at $1000 it would sell. Wish I needed another car! I have always wanted a gc coupe.

Thanks for the advice Pat. Subies have a slight color variation between their greens too. But i'm sure if i did that, it would look much better than it does now.

Prblem is i'm really broke right now, and the car has to go as is. Normally i'd fix it up and get it stickered, but the funds are just not there.....

Somebody buy my car

whats the rust like?
Typical rear wheel wells - surface (one side needs to be addressed more than the other), and there's some surface rust up near the antenna.

bushings?
Seem fine

do you have any way to hook me up with all the parts for a 5MT swap?
Every once in a while there's stuff up on craigslist. I, personally, dont have any access to used parts, maybe Subarude knows of any 5mts for sale?
