Ok guys. Have talked to the wife about getting rid of the Subie and moving on to something diffrent. M3 perhaps!
Some of you have seen my car in person or atleast pics of it.
I have a 2006 STI with 60000 miles on her.
She has a lot of work done to it. Here is a quick list
FP 20g with TD06 3in inlet and 8cm hotside. It was literly rebuilt like 200 miles ago by Blouch.
DW 720cc injectors
Perrin 3in Big Maf Air intake system
Perrin TGV delete kit
Perrin FMIC
255lb/m Fuel pump
Maddad headers and uppipe
Turbo XS Downpipe back exhaust with there quieter standard muffler
ACT streetlite flywheel with Execedy stage 1 clutch.
ATI clock pod with Maddad: Exhaust, Boost, and Oil temp gauges.
GT Spec Fender braces
Tein springs
Turbo timer.
DPX503 CD player. Cannt remember brand of speakers I put in car.
Have the Weather Tech molded floorpans for the winter.
Here are some extra small things
I have a AP v1 with the maps for the car I will give to the buy.
Have 18' Black OZ ultraleggras with BFG KDW2 tires (summer set up) like 85% tread left.
The stock goldies are the winter setup and have winter tires on them cann't remember the brand. But they have about 75% tread left.
Also, I have the stright pipe for a midpipe on exhaust and when you go for inspections I have the Turbo XS high flow cat you can pop in and out.
Still have the orignal clock pod with clock if you ever want to go back stock.
Ok the thing is as most know. The engine needs a rebuild. The good news is I believe it is not severe problem. I think the oil scrapper rings are shot. Car still runs strong just burns oil. I have talked to M&A and they said for around $1800-$1900 they could take the engine all the way out have it sent to machine shop redecked and honed then put back togeather that would be with customer suppling the parts.
I did a price list and going with Forged pistons(CP pistons) new timing belt kit, water pump, oil pump, new clutch and seal kit. Parts and labor look to be around $4k.
I am looking for someone to basicly just take over the loan. I owe $20k on the car. It bluebooks at private sale for around $21.5k
So if you pick the car up for $20k put $4 in it for you are looking at $24k. I am asking less for the car because of the engine needs to be rebuilt. I figure the mods would help offset the rest. At the least you could sale the rims and tires (the OZ's which run almost $400 a piece for just the rim and make up some of the money.
Any input guys let me know.
