New- From southern Maine

Hey, I drive a 2004 WRX and am trying to get into working at rally events. Are there any experienced rally workers or race teams from southern Maine (I'm in the Berwicks) that would be willing to show me the ropes?

Welcome aboard! Always glad to have another Rally enthusiast around! Any questions or looking for information, send me a PM. If you are looking for worker information, you want to get in touch with Katnip. She helps organizes pretty much all the rally events in Maine and New Hampshire. There is a worker training workshop going on at Tim O'Neils rally school ( http://www.team-oneil.com/ in Dalton, NH) the weekend before the New England Forest Rally (the date is July 12th). If you haven't worked and event before this will be a GREAT experience to learn and meet some teams. If you find the NEFR thread, it will give you a better idea. Hope to see you there!

would trying to get the kids to a doctors apointment on time while trying not to have ther emilk go flying and give the turbo whip lash be considered rallying?

if you are interested in checking out a real live kickass rally, New England Forest Rally is coming right up July 17-18 in western ME.

the event always needs workers, especially corner marshals to help keep roads closed off...these workers get posted to some awesome locations where normal speccies don't get to go, HINT HINT.

A member wrote down the address for me back in January but I'm rather absent minded so I lost the paper. then I found it again when I moved to a new apartment. So here I am.

I grew up in rockport and used to drive by the last ditch cars every day on my way to school in camden. Result: Much drooling! Your team's co-driver is from camden right?

The LDR guys are great. definitely swing in to meet them if you get up to parc expose or one of the service areas.
