welcome fax...

Do not succumb to the sand cpeople...Build it for pavement! hahahaha!

Hi nigel & losst...

Ok I like the sandy side, I can admit it... It's just my car is not in favor of it the way it is built.

Whatever U decide there is a plethora of people with huge knowledge here and it is a lot of fun...

Thanks all, haha road or off road, i think ill be stayin on the road for a while my last off road adventure put my car in the shop for a while, but what can i say it just loves the mud ill get pics up

I know how you feel. When I first got my car I'd go sit in it for no good reason... haha

how many miles you have on it?

Its got 160xxx on it. Im the second owner but everythings been kept up good! First owner dump 6500 in it while he owned it. All new everything runs great no valve ticking or anything just purrs. Speedo cable broke in it a while ago though fixin that in the mornin. guy down the road has every part for this car CHEAP! just luck i guess

with your speedo, does it not work at all? or does it work weirdly? Because mine does weird things under 20mph. Under 20mph it jumps all around (both on the scangauge and gauge cluster), but then over 20 it is fairly correct.

Haha man what a nightmare i could have easily fixed earlier! Well the speedo stays on zero all the time and its put my car in limp mode throwing a cel code for a speedo sensor. it only revs to like 4500 rpms. i was told it was the altenator putting out low voltage at high rpms and it wasnt. Expensive! then i talked to evergreen and the guy there i forget his name said it could be the speedo itself but new gauge cluster didnt fix the issue. Then i finnally got the bright idea to pull out the speedo cable and manually spin it to see if the speedo work and it didnt! i pull on the end of the cable a little bit and the first 4 inches on the tranny end pull right out of the sheathing! lol found out what was wrong with my car. But i have heard that if your altenator isn't putting out steady voltage it can play games with your speedo. Put a voltage tester across your battery and watch to see if there is any voltage drop as someone revs your motor. it should be within like + - .7 volts steady. if it drops drastically it could be your altenator. you only need to ride it up to like 4 grand. Neat trick i learned from the guy i bought my car off. Says the techs say it happens from time to time. But ive never heard of it happening, just a possibility

Maybe its your cable too, idk maybe its twisted ro something gettin ready to let go. mine had spun hard enough to break the cable.
