weird. doesn't look like they actually have a physical location. all I see are CAD renderings of the building.

Yeah, that's Bill Waldron's new place. He owns Portland Saab and Portland Volvo. It's on Presumpscot Street. I guess it's mostly just his cars in there right now......

I wonder what his criteria is for the cars he allows in. I can't imagine he'd let just anything in there, but if you can come up with $2400, I'd imagine it would be hard to turn it down.

We should start a group to raise funds to get some sort of POS in there, and then visit and attend all of the events, standing around it like it's just as special as the collector's cars in there. :idea1:

weird. i think that building houses the cars that USED to be in the building in westbrook that our company just bought. my boss was telling me that the guy we bought it from (probably bill waldron) was being a total dick about a whole mess of cars that were stored in there. we wanted to hurry along the process because we need the space badly, so he said yes, then wanted us to pay storage on about 50 cars between then and when he found a place to store the cars. :dink:

then he forgot to mention the right-of-way for another property right through the middle of the parking lot that we planned to expand into. :icon_scratch:

he mentioned a bunch of muscle cars and an old police car.

^^ And hence why there's only CAD pictures of the facility on the site...

Not bashing, she just needs a little TLC on the outside.

Nope, it seems like they'll have mech and detail bays, with people to do the work for you, or for your rental/usage yourself if you want to do the work.

Its one thing to store a car but having someone to work and clean the car for you, well that doesn't seem right to me. I looses out of the experience of owning that "dream car". Just sounds like its tailored for people that just have money to waist. But that's me 2 cents for the day, I will shut up lol

i talked to my boss today and yeah, all those cars were in the building we're moving into next month.

he said that they're installing racks to double stack cars for more capacity. the idea being that you call ahead and the employees get your car down for you and have it all warmed up when you get there. he said any type of car could be stored there, but the fee to do so will stave off most lower end cars.

he said they're supposed to have a big open house when its done and he's gonna talk to waldron about getting me invited to check it out. i might see if he needs a promotional photographer as well :glasses9:

Nice to know! I forget sometimes those pictures are dated and stuff, too...

I wouldn't mind at least having a "tour" of their facilities and stuff...
