Another newbie.

I just traded in the 2006 Impreza 2.5i for my 2008 WRX. Loving every minute of it and can't wait to start the mods list up. So far.... tint. But have a list in my head of a few mild stage 2 kind of stuff to get her purring.

Oh ya and I'm moving from Arizona to Maine this week. Hence the screen name. Me, the Subi and my girlfriend are going to make the cross country drive. Wish us luck! Looking forward to meeting as many of you as I can out on the streets and local meets.

Ahhh, I was just in SLC 2 days ago visiting family. Weather was amazing!

And I can't take the heat anymore. I'll suffer through the cold for a while and see where the wind takes me after that. Thanks for the hellos. See you all in the October meet.

 
It has been really hot in SLC this past week. Its better then Maine's hot though, since theres no humidty.

I don't know how much snow you got in your part of AZ, but definitely put forth the effort to detail and protect your car correctly before the snow hits! We love our road salt in Maine.

What part of Maine are you coming to?

hey did you get the 4 door or the hatch? i moved from south carolina to maine. warm weather is so over rated. maien gets plenty of warm weather and you can alwasy put on more clothes and crank up the heat when its cold. when its hot there is only so much you can do withotu gettign arrested lol

I am the first owner of the car. Smoking deal on this red 2008 WRX. Brand new still sitting on the lot and got it for less than you can buy one used on the street here in Phoenix. It's the sedan. I put a few pics up on my profile.

And I agree that warm weather is over rated. "you can't shovel the heat" is what I keep hearing here for the last 25 years but like you said you can only take off so many clothes before you become socially unacceptable in public. The summers are just brutal and they last longer than any winter south of the north pole. I'm sure i'll be cold this winter but I'll survive. Looking forward to it.

BTW, If you painted your stockers gold, it would look spectactular! Cheap and easy to do too. Oh and your tint maybe illegal in ME, just a heads up:)

 
do you really? see i love the color on it own but i like contrast so liek i said before having throuble finding a good color as an accent to give it some contrast the red is nice accent color but can only do so much of that

 
Made it into Maine yesterday. Got a few nice pics of the Subi from the drive and down at the beach which I will post as soon as I get a better internet connection. Stealing from my neighbors right now.

The WRX did great on the drive. A few new rock chips to complain about but overall not bad. She's clean as of this morning and looking pretty good. Hope to see some of you on the road.

Looking forward to the big meet/drive, too.
