uppipe install

can i run my oem sti uppipe without a tune? i know i will need to use the resistor for the egt but didn't know if a tune was necessary for a catless uppipe.

i only have a catback for now. i'm planning to order a dp and accessport soon, just a little behind on money because i just had to replace my waterpump and order a new radiator. should i wait unitl i have everything to do the uppipe too?

it won't hurt anything to run it now its just easier to in stall it when the downpipe is out
