That is a decent knife. I remember looking at that (different scales) at Cabelas. I definitely like the non serrated edge on those (ease of sharpening) unless you get the crazy deep 'tactical' serrations (super easy to keep sharp).

The Kershaw looks good. Nice pricepoint too.

Rule #9, never go anywhere without a knife.
somebody else watches ncis I see. daily carry is buck redpoint. nice ruber grip, blade holds an edge well. also carry leatherman super tool almost everywhere I go. if not that, the victorianox handyman swiss army knife. I have too many small knives to bother listing, but I've also made a few. not that they;re beautiful

Ive got a pile of knives, too many to list. For daily carry I have owned a bunch of Kershaws, for the price they can't be beat. Slim and fit easily in the pocket. I tried Gerbers but they just ever felt quite as good in my hand.

Right now I'm carrying a full size Benchmade Griptilian, fits my hand really well and it just a smooth sharp tough knife. And the Benchmade warranty is nice, I snapped the tip off this one last year. Sent it in with $20 and got a new blade put on. They also replace th belt clips for free usually.

Got this for Xmas from my father in law. Classic buck knife. Stockman 371 series. I'm going to find a 110 for my next.

I got the CRKT M16-14D for Christmas! Very impressed with it. Good solid construction, easy one-hand opening, dual locking blade so it become virtually a fixed blade when open. Only complaint is that it's a little larger then I expected. stolen internet pic because camera is broken

Every man should have a pocket knife with him. I would suggest picking one up.
