Bought some yellow tint, made some yellow fog light overlays. Pay no attention to the bugs:)

I know! It's bad. I might have done a bunch of high speed drifting/donuts in the Beech Ridge parking lot the other day too, so the rest of the car doesn't look too good either ....

Okay so whats the deal with yellow tinted fogs? Is there a reason behind it besides looking cool? I kinda want to do mine, any stores carry it that anyone knows of? (v.i.p, carquest etc.)

Yellow cuts through the fog better then white.

Beyond that, I'm not really big on the orange lenses in the daytime. I have yellow bulbs in my fogs, and they look great!

I think yellow tints the only way for my fogs because they're sealed. But anyways, I read that the yellow cutting through fog was a myth so I didn't know if there was any other reason as to why people do it. Still think it looks sweet so i'm gunna do mine.

The bulb should be accessible from behind the bumper.

Bugeye bulbs are changeable from the back of the housing. You can either look under the bumper cover from behind (easier), or pull the light itself (may break 10 year old rusty bolts)

I've never bothered with yellow. May throw some yellow bulbs in my legacy this winter to see what all the fuss is about.

i just put my yellows back in my headlights from 8000k hids. i think they work better than the whites for the same reasons you guys said. i dont have fogs (unfortunately) but if i did, they would be all yellow.

i just installed HIDs in my headlamps and fogs for my 04 FXT...i used 3000k for my fogs which is a yellow.  and 6000k which is icy blue.  great combo.

A 3000k yellow HID kit is also great for those people that like the function of a yellow light output, but don't want to take away from the cleanliness of their car. Sometimes the yellow film makes certain areas of the car stick out too much.
