1995 Subaru Impreza with JDM WRX engine swap $10,000

1995 Subaru Impreza. Body came from Florida about 5 years ago. Stored
winters, never has had any rust. This is not a project car or some kid's
hack job. It's finished, extremely reliable and can be driven anywhere.
Everything works like it's supposed to. I've been a mechanic for 25
years and this has been my fun car. It has just about every bolt on you
can get and many rare parts. All it would need to be perfect is fresher
paint. The paint isn't horrible, but it is faded in places.



Made 279 WHP and 288 WTQ. Ran [email protected] in 1/4 mile.

I want to buy a new 2015 F150. I actually have the money to buy it without selling anything, but feel like I would have too many cars. I'm going to sell my Samurai too as soon as the snow is over for the year.

I've got a lot of questions about trades. I don't want or need any more
cars. I have a new truck on order due to arrive in about 2 months. I
would possibly consider something that is newer, stock, clean title in
hand, will pass inspection, doesn't need any work and is of equal value
to my asking price in trade for my car and I could use as a trade in for
my new truck when it arrives. Otherwise I don't want your trade.

I sold my RS and my Samurai. So I will need to keep this one for now to get around until my new truck gets delivered. I'd still consider selling this, but now I want $10k firm, no less and it won't be available until the end of next month or so.

But on the other hand if somebody waves $10k at me, I will let it go. But I'm not going to move on that price, I don't need the money.

motivated to sell the the car before we get snowed in here. I have some
other cars I'd like to buy soon for me, my gf and my daughter.

Probably not much chance of a trade deal but here is what I'd be looking for-

60-70's
muscle or pony car. Camaro, Nova, Chevelle, Mustang etc. I'm open to
lots of options here Ford GM or Chrysler. Just nothing rusty, needs work
is ok. Even trade or you add cash to your project car.

08+ Ford
Taurus or Lincoln MKS, must be AWD and clean. I might add a bit of cash
for a nice one of these. Ecoboost would be nice, but not a must.

05+
Mustang can need work, wrecked repairable or whatever only needs to be
automatic. Won't add cash for this deal, even or lesser value only.

I don't want anything else in trade, please don't ask.

Well that was a waste of $70. The buyer just flaked out. Guy bid with
one second left and hit the reserve. If anyone wants the car for the
$8,000 you can have it. I'm not listing on Ebay again. Sellers can't
leave negative feedback and can't get a refund. For some public shaming
this is the message I just got-

Sorry to do this but I need to retract my bid, I
was caught off guard by how large Maine is and there are no practical
public transport options there are to get there from the NY area. I'm
unable to find a passenger to get me all the way to your location to
complete the transaction, I'm not willing to ship a car unseen and am
worried about the legality of the emissions equipment for my state.



Sorry again, hopefully your second bidder will work out. I understand
this is frustrating but I'm in over my head and can't make it work.
