How's it going? Name is jay and I'm picking up a 05 Legacy LGT within the next few days.

New to the Subaru world as I am a VW guy at heart. The legacy gt has been my dream car for the past 6 or so years. Can't wait to get behind the wheel.

I see there are quite a bit of sti's and wrx's around waterville.

All I have been doing is researching the best mods for the $$$ and will start with the maintenance than go to the exhaust. I'm big on low cars so this will be on coilovers sometime in the future!

^ that. Or if your plannin on going veedub low.. Just check the filter and clean it every time you replace your oilpan haha.

2005 LGT's suck.
Welcome! When you do the exhaust you may want to look into doing a new turbo as well, maybe the VF-52, the stock VF-40's suuuuuuck.

hey bud!  I like the power of this Legacy and the AWD, waaaay better than the audi. Ha ha.

I plan on getting a mk1 or old beetle sometime.  Gotta keep my vw roots alive!

And I totally agree about having a beer!
