The Plan:

Stage 1:

Let's plan on meeting at 745 at the Auburn park and ride. Leave at 8:10. Please be there on time!

This means we will be at the Augusta Civic Center at 8:50-9. So Augusta people, please be there on time! Well leave by 9:15 for Bar Harbor.

Stage 2: Augusta to Bar Harbor

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=Unknown+road&daddr=44.40581,-69.16945+to:44.49765,-69.09271+to:44.530885,-68.9577792+to:44.56799,-68.62593+to:44.56799,-68.62593+to:44.5542932,-68.5384248+to:44.53947,-68.45611+to:44.53926,-68.42912+to:Bar+Harbor,+ME&geocode=FdyfpAIdGvrW-w%3BFTKUpQId1o7g-ylpQGCENQ2uTDHbhqXYRooMbw%3BFfL6pgIdmrrh-ylhAEHVVmuuTDFP0_cTh0Lmkg%3BFcV8pwIdrcnj-ymdlUK28GmuTDFbkGIb5o6evw%3BFbYNqAId9tno-yldK_9JwViuTDGmhd8oWmyLvA%3BFbYNqAId9tno-yldK_9JwViuTDGmhd8oWmyLvA%3BFTXYpwIdyC_q-yl77WY1i_auTDGUAYLvH2KHrQ%3BFU6epwIdUnHr-ylbmgxGDfGuTDG0w4W4D-KEmg%3BFXydpwIdwNrr-ymtUZtMu_GuTDGhdmulUvAzQA%3BFftMpQIdgkrv-ykD-yazNL6uTDFU3M2TUzopVQ&hl=en&mra=dvme&mrsp=8&sz=11&via=1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8&sll=44.519031,-68.481388&sspn=0.251649,0.676346&ie=UTF8&ll=44.51389,-68.381996&spn=0.062918,0.169086&t=h&z=13&lci=com.panoramio.all

We will be leaving Augusta by 9:15. One stop in Ellsworth for gas, instead of stopping in overcrowded, over priced Bar Harbor for gas. There's a few gas stations right in down town Ellsworth, and I feel to make things move along faster, we should split up and go to the gas station of your choice. Maybe 20-30min to fill up our group. Then we all be meeting at the Hannafords(http://maps.google.com/maps?q=44.531369,-68.408571&num=1&t=h&gl=us&hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=44.531766,-68.407531&spn=0.003931,0.010568&z=17), where we then head out to Bar Harbor.

Follow this route around and eat lunch on top of Cadillac Mt.

Stage Cuatro : Back Home

After eating Lunch, we will head back into Bar Harbor, and take pretty much the same route home. At this time, if it is convenient for you to take another route, don't hesitate to do so. If at any time you want to break off on the way back, don't hesitate to do. Once we reach Augusta, well take route 95 south and everyone can go their separate ways.

I'll do anything other than the week of the 16th in may. Fishing trip. I think something later in may would be better. Not so wet out from melting snow. Let's do this!!!!!!

I'm going on a trip in the spring sometime... not sure when.

If I can make it, I'll probably do my photo shtick as usual.

I tried to count the cars in the picture but my eyes just started to blur them all together...

Baring anything more spectacular, I'd go for a spin...

Are we doing the same route as in the fall or something different? either way I am in. FYI If the drive goes through bridgton again we can get away with using the shawnee peak parking lot for a group photo if no one is around. Will have to draw straws for the person that will have to run up the mountain for an aerial photo.

If something different is going to be done how about 302 to 113 up to bethel???? plenty of fun roads up there.

if my car is still alive...

when does the "quarter century club" get funding and sponsors.

I am almost drowning in a sube.
default_wink.png

not that anything subaru sponsored cares for anything older than 4 days.

anyone noticed, I have not gone a week for four years without something needing to be done..

if you should see an old sube doing decent roadworthy... it needs some respect.

Mine may not make it another year, even after the hellacious list of chores (I may be drawing the line at a nuclear explanation)
