Shot trap today with my 870, magpul furniture is super comfy, comes up nicer with the shorter length of pull

aaand sporting shotgun loads are starting to get scarce

As soon as I get this brace off my right arm (hopefully in a week or so), we are going to be setting up for a 400+ yard shoot in Litchfield.   Nice and straight, with a 30 foot tall berm right behind it.  My buddy has a 700 in .338 Lapua,and a Dragunov, and I have a few AR-10s to play with, plus a few others with toys will be down. Should be interesting.  up to a 100 yard pistol shoot later in the day. Anyone interested?  We can park at the shooting end of it, then its just a walk back and forth for target replacement. ( unless someone has a side by side or something.....)

As long as its not Mother's Day weekend I'll probably be into some Litchfield action.  If I buy some .338L will your buddy left me shoot the 700?  Well, I secretly desire some Dragunov action too.

Im sure he would let someone try it for the price of ammo, its around $3.75 a pop right now... shoots good, we were nailing gongs at 900 yds with it pretty easy. The Dragunov is one of my old builds. It started life as a no import marks OLD psl, which I traded my Hesse RPK for (really dumb move, with RPKs going for $2000+ now). The PSL wasn't  the new light barreled garbage they're trying to pass off now. Lucky for me, I happened to have an all original SVD in a wooden crate to go by for help with the stock design/ finish. With the Soviet night scope, we were doing great at 500 yds with it... with a better optic, and some better ammunition, Im sure we could break into the 1000 yd mark...  I think I have my uncle convinced to bring his Bren out, that should be a lot of fun. Its all orig, except the selector has been made legally inoperative.

   Ive done a couple of left handed off-the-bipod shots with my new LR308, it seems to be dead on, so I cant wait to get down there,( I almost like it better than my Armalite) I just need to load up 100 rounds or so of .308, and maybe pick up some .223, and Im good to go. Maybe the weekend after Mother's day? Depending on weather I guess.

I got some .308 for you.  I sold the Saiga308 so I not longer need the ammo.  G3 used to have wicked deals on some imported 308 ammo.  $10/BOX.  AHH The good ole days.

Lots of parts available for Glock's. Trigger jobs and other extended goodies.

I also have a trigger bar available to do a lightening on a Ruger SR series pistol.

Its only 35 or so, plus a few reloads.  I'll let you have it free if you let me put a couple thru your AR10 or LR308.

25 Turkish cheap stuff, and about 5 S&B.  Maybe 10 heavy grain bthp reloads.

Just renewed my membership.  I feel human again.  IF any of you are not NRA members now is the time to do it.  If you are a member just remember they cannot use membership money for lobbying.  They can only use donated money.  Lets stand tall, shoulder to shoulder.  Let the numbers speak to America's socialist liberals.

That works for me. You will probably hit better than I do with it anyway.  Its looking like the shoot will be a go, we can do either a Saturday or Sunday. Probably weekend after Mothers day.   There's plenty of parking down there.   I have a bunch of scrap lumber, Ill throw a target rack together with my good hand...Then it will be a matter of dragging it down there. Hopefully some others on here can make it.

Well divorce court would suck! I can 2nd the 18th... anybody else?  My buddy is going to try and get another weekend off... he's a supervisor down at BIW, they're doing a lot of weekend OT lately. I actually just got another AR10 off him, but its going right into my uncle's shop. Its a DPMS LR-260, with a .308 SASS barrel, and the orig parts to put it back to .260...  I just really couldn't justify owning 3 AR10s right now... Ill snap a couple pics of the newest toy soon. Its all the way in my basement. And I'm lazy. That's what being out of work does for you.

smelt, I have to back out of the range day.  Must work on cars.  Stuff is getting backed up.

Thanx man......,..I cant take the wife for our yearly target practice session until I can replasce the ammo we'll use.....Cant believe it become so hard to find that caliber.

Just give me a shout if you come across any .25 auto/acp..................Paul
