Use some electrical grease on the plug... sounds like you either have a short or some moisture getting in there and popping it prematurely.

make sure you don't touch the bulb. the oils from your fingers will coat the glass, cause it to overheat and it will pop.

This car has a twin too (veteran plates), the couple who has the shop right next to Ray Gosselin owns it.
