Been a while again. I've been DDing this thing for the last two months and it's been good. I've got just over 5000 miles on the motor, all quiet except for valve noise which is probably from not getting in there to readjust valve lash.

Finally got some Bassett's and new Grabber's. 225/70 on 15x7 +0 pics to come.

After I get a few things sorted in the engine bay and replace an axle on my Forester, I'll be working on the rear brakes/ebrake and changing out gear oil. Anyone tried Redline products?

The wheels and tires are noticeably heavy. They also did not balance out great and I have some shaking over 30mph but it's manageable lol

Ordered some outback trailing arm brackets! Got two sets, here's one on the counter at Quirk. I buy all my oem parts through Travis, he's quite a helpful guy! The second set is for my buddy's WRX, there's a pic of it with one of my Bassett's somewhere in those above. I'm saving my set until I can get new struts and more lift parts in a few months since I already trimmed my rockers to fit they're not necessary yet. The WRX is getting Foz struts to go along with his King WRX lift springs(which I believe are just standard height foz) and he's trying not to trim anything for now so I jumped on buying the spacers for both of us!

Today I will be changing my transmission and rear end oils. Gonna stick with Valvoline 75w-90 in both. Rear end hasn't been changed that I know of and with my last trans oil change 40k+ miles ago, it's making some noise lately that I don't much like.

Love my collection, the WRX isn't mine though

So I got the oils swapped out. Rear end was good, light fine metal on plug. Transmission on the other hand was awful, lots of metal and some large bits on the plug. Not good, not sure how much longer she will last. Noise is much quieter but still there. I'm going to run it and work on getting a replacement or a 4.44 setup.

Thanks for looking out Jason! I'm going to give it a bit on the parts car search though. I don't think my transmission is going to last long at all, so I will probably just have to replace or repair the 4.11 for now.

Been pulled over twice in the past week, both times for loud exhaust and tires sticking out. Gonna try and find some cheap flares and weld a muffler on

Thinking of the old girl today since the transmission seized up on me a couple weeks ago. I'm ready for the driveway to dry up so I can get to work!

I hear ya on the driveway! That sucks about the trans though. What are your plans for that?

Decided I will use the transmission I've got in the shed. It's from a 2000 rs, I was saving it for my coupe. That, group n motor and trans mounts, shifter bushings, rear struts and a valve adjustment and she'll be on the road for another few months haha
