you should compression test it before you decide the motors blown

manuals have a viscous center diff aka only way it disengages is if its broken. nothing to do with ebrake

people are deep into the 9's on stock sti 6mt's launching with 4 slicks with 6-700 hp and they hold up good. all about the trasnmission design really, the 5mt has real thin gears

he would have sold the complete car for 9500...

yeah if you buy  another piston from subaru. but the way he was tuning it was wicked hack, which is why it blew up in the first place. no control over timing = broken ringland

thinks he will get more money i guess.
